Do you leak Dark Papers after they are requested?

Dark Papers are listed for other Lake Darkness members to view only. However, the original LD member requesting the DP will always receive the completed DP at least 48 hours before it’s posted in the DP Vault.

How long does it take to complete a Dark Paper?

On average, a project investigation can be completed within 1-2 business days of receiving a request. Dark Papers are completed in 3 steps: research, peer-review, and packaging.

Can you do custom research questions?

In short, yes. While we cannot guarantee we can find the answers you’re looking for, we try to accommodate all specialized research requests.

How do refunds work?

If you find that our research is inadequate and missing blatant red flags, we will fully refund the cost of the research product. Contact us directly for further action steps.

How do I pay for extra Dark Paper bounties?

Currently, we create invoices manually to be paid by credit or debit (for additonal Dark Papers). We also accept various forms of cryptocurrencies as payment. We will ask for your preferred payment method after the work request has been finalized. 

How do I change services?

Can I add, delete, or switch projects?

Yes. Depending on the status of the work being completed, we will work to accommodate your request. Contact us directly for changes.

Do you reach out directly to project teams to answer questions?

Not currently. All information included in our products is found in the public domain. 

What kind of web3 projects do you research and monitor?

We perform due diligence on and monitor cryptocurrency and NFT projects.

Will I make money using your service?

While a web3 project may appear fundamentally strong, we make no guarantee that a project’s assets will appreciate.

For NFTs, do you consider artwork as a utility?

Yes, we consider artwork to be a utility for NFTs.

Do you write all of your research papers from scratch?

Yes. Projects are constantly evolving, and so is the information surrounding them. We aim to provide the most updated information possible. 

Do you white label research reports?

Yes. Our research can be used as a basis for blog posts, videos, social media posts, podcasts, etc.
